Pastor Tim York received Jesus Christ as his Savior as a young boy in 1978. After graduating from Goose Creek High School he entered the United States Air Force where God began to work in his heart and called him to full-time Christian service. In 2001 Pastor York surrendered to God’s call upon his life to preach and pastor. He attended Ambassador Baptist College and later graduated from the Fairfax Baptist Temple Missions Academy in 2005. Pastor York started and pastored the Lancaster Independent Baptist Church in Lititz, PA for 18 years until God led him and his family to move to Moncks Corner and become the assistant to Pastor Bailey at Tri-city Baptist Church in August 2023.
Pastor York met Sheryl West on July 4, 1991, and they were married in Sandridge, SC in August, 1993. Sheryl supports Pastor York as a
loving wife, ministry helper, and wonderful mother to their four children: Daniel (2001), Rachel (2003), Bethany (2004), and Susanna (2007).
